MER 240 Student Teams Achieve Top 5 at Quinnipiac Spring Pitch Competition 2026

We are pleased to share that two student teams from MER 240: Introduction to Mechanical Engineering Design achieved Top 5 rankings at the Quinnipiac University Spring Pitch Competition 2026, earning cash prizes for their innovative project presentations.

The competition featured student teams from across the university presenting entrepreneurial and design-focused solutions. The success of these teams reflects their strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, and capacity to translate engineering design concepts into impactful, real-world applications.

This achievement highlights the emphasis in MER 240 on design thinking, prototyping, and effective technical communication, as well as the students’ dedication and effort throughout the semester.
